Association of Indpendent Record Labels
AIR is a non profit, non government association representing Australian record labels and independent artists . AIR's primary purpose is to foster an increasing marketplace for Australian independent music by providing information, advice, and exclusive member services, business development seminars, commercial negotiation, lobbying and advocacy and trade promotion. AIR is a member of the Worldwide Independent Network (WIN), a group of international music associations who collectively advocate for fair, competitive market access for independent music.

Australia Council for the Arts
The Australia Council is the Australian Government's arts funding and advisory body. It directly supports young, emerging and established artists, as well as new and established organisations. ACA provides over 1,700 grants each year to artists and arts organisations across Australia

Australian Music Online
Australian Music Online’ (AMO), sponsored by the Australia Council for the Arts, is a web-based initiative that aimed to advance the marketing and promotion of new Australian contemporary music, across a diverse range of genres, both nationally and internationally. The AMO project ran from March 2003 - April 2007; the site, however, remains archived live on the internet.
Australian Music Radio Airplay Project
Amrap (Australian Music Radio Airplay Project) is a contemporary music intiative that was established with government funding, and is managed within the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia. The aim of Amrap is to promote Australian
artists and to increase their chances of airplay on community radio stations.

AMRA is an industry body representing the music products sector - manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and associated services for musical instruments, pro audio, print music, lighting and computer music.
Australasian Performing Rights Association
APRA is a not-for-profit organisation that collects public performance royalties on behalf of its 47,000+ members, and by agreement, for all the copyright owners around the world. Since 1997, APRA has also been able to offer a number of reproduction licences through AMCOS (Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners' Society), a music copyright collection society that represents music publishers and writers from around the world for rights in the reproduction (copying) of their music.
Australian Recording Industry Association
ARIA's primary objective is to advance the interests of the Australian recording industry and act as an industry advocate both domestically and internationally. ARIA is a focus for industry opinion and compiler of industry information and news. ARIA also collects statistical information from members and retailers to compile the ARIA sales charts. The organisation also stages the highly prestigeous ARIA Awards.
Australian Music Therapy Association
AMTA is a professional and registration body for music therapy and music therapists. AMTA manages professional registration, runs an annual conference and provides a range of services including professional development for music therapists.
